Together Towards a Sustainable Arctic
The Arctic Council Chairmanship of Iceland 2019-2021
On 7 May 2019, Iceland took over the Chairmanship of the Arctic Council from Finland for a two-year tenure from 2019 to 2021. In this context, the Icelandic and Finnish Embassy in Berlin in cooperation with the Federal Foreign Office and the German Arctic Office are organizing a special seminar focusing on the handover of the Chairmanship from Finland to Iceland, continuity between the two Chairmanships and the priorities of Iceland's Arctic Council Chairmanship.
